Organization (to be validated by S&OP team):
S&OP team will lead the migration from ODI to GCP.

SQL translator will be used to convert ODI transformations into DBT/BigQuery.

Technical POC has been successfully validated.

S&OP Team will also deliver the CADP for Board.

Analytical use cases: Leverage DBT and BigQuery to transform data from GCP to BOARD
Decommission EDW and ODI (ETL) feeding BOARD.

Feed BOARD from GCP environment (SADP tables mirroring EDW structure from the Data Platform on which S&OP business transformations will be applied)

Avoid BOARD changes (legacy, highly interconnected, big-bang cutover).

Direct translation of ODI SQL logic to DBT (lift-and-shift).

No detailed business rules available for ODI transformations → cannot fully redesign logic now.

Preserves existing transformation behavior, avoiding re-specification.

Minimizes development effort and project duration.

Reduces risk of business disruption by keeping outputs identical.

Enables faster migration while deferring optimization work to a later phase.

Migrate S&OP business parameters table to BigQuery.

GCP environment (physical or logical separation) chosen per data team’s recommendation for storage, transformations and orchestration
